Engineer's Representative for offshore site investigation works for two new outfall pipes in the Moray Firth.
Supervision and techncial quality monitoring and record keeping for works. Tidal and water depth limitations required a risk managed approach to ensure sequencing of the works to suit the weather conditions. Ground conditions encountered were highly variable, with strengths of 120MPa to nearly 400MPa, resulting in unpredictable durations for boreholes, and multiple drill bit changes, adding to the complexity of the works.
Works were completed by Fugro Seacore using the vessel Skate 2D.
