About Me and CV

I'm a Chartered Civil Engineer who, after 10 years of maritime and onshore civil engineering, moved into the offshore industry in 2009. Since then I have been project managing the design, supply and construction of a variety of offshore wind projects, acting as a consultant, developer and EPC contractor.

My goals for any project are to safely, efficiently and effectively deliver what is required, on time and on budget, working within a happy and enthusiastic project team.

My approach is to be proactive in planning and engineering a project in advance of execution. I use risk management and lessons learned to ensure mistakes are not repeated, to focus efforts where gains can be maximised, and to avoid situations that can endanger the overall success of the project for its sponsor or my colleagues.  Through my network of industry contacts, I can usually obtain detailed specialist advice at short notice, supporting  and extending the range of professional services I can supply to my Clients, without compromising on quality.

I'm always looking for opportunities to use my skills on interesting and challenging projects, and aim to provide a diligent and quality service to my Employer in whatever role I'm assigned.
