Gwynt Y Mor Site Investigation - 2009

Project Manager for management of the main site investigation for the Gwynt y Mor Offshore Wind Farm off the north Wales coast. 57 boreholes and over 200CPTs using three different vessels. Contract and technical management of contractor, and resource management for four Client Representatives.

Boreholes completed from Fugro Seacore vessel Fugro Commander and the Geosea vessel Buzzard. CPTs completed by Fugro Seacore from Fugro Commander and GEO from Noordhoek Singapore.

North Hoyle Met Mast Decommissioning - 2009

Lead Engineer for demolition of a piled concrete dolphin and met mast for the North Hoyle Offshore Wind Farm.

Works were conducted from the Fugro Seacore vessel Excalibur. The met mast was removed in two sections and then the concrete section was held in position while it was cut free form the piles. An internal pile cutting tool was used to cut each pile at approximately 2m below seabed.

Triton Knoll Site Investigation - 2009

Lead Engineer for technical advice during site investigation campaign for the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm.

I provided specialist advice for the preparation of the technical specifications, vessel selection and approvals, and day to day project management of the offshore campaign which was scheduled to fit in with other Client projects utilising the same vessel assets.
